LG G4 is finally launched and available in the Philippines

Manila, May 28, 2015 – Following the launch of LG Electronics’s new flagship brand LG G4 smartphone in six cities worldwide—namely New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Istanbul, and Seoul—on April 29, 2015, the smartphone itself finally arrives in the Philippines. Inviting everyone to “See the Great, Feel the Great”, the far more striking LG G4 was unveiled to a local audience in a grand launch at the Theatre at Solaire.

At the event hosted by Asia’s Next Top Model mentor Joey Mead-King, many celebrities and personalities graced the grand launch of the new smartphone. Among them were the Philippine Azkals players Anton Del Rosario, and brothers Simon and Chris Greatwich, basketball stars LA Tenorio, Japeth Aguilar, and Alvin Patrimonio, power couple Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles, Bb. Pilipinas Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, and many more. Award-winning Filipino Concept Photographer Niccolo Cosme praised the LG G4 as he shared his story in collaborating with LG through the CSR project entitled See the Greatness in You”.

Also, the grand visual quality of the LG G4 smartphone was seen in the photo exhibit at the event featuring epic photography pieces from industry professionals. Along with Cosme’s portraits shot for the CSR project, the exhibit also presented photos of mouthwatering dishes captured by Anton Diaz of the leading food blog Our Awesome Planet with his LG G4, giving the audience a preview of his search for the “100 Great Cuisines in the Philippines.” Out of Town travel blogsite owner Melo Villareal used the LG G4 to take snapshots of the different sceneries in Manila.

For the final presentation, nature photographer Colby Brown used the LG G4 to take stunning photos and renowned motion picture director and producer Pepe Diokno created a short film for the launch.

At the event, LG Mobile Philippines Vice President Jay Won said:

“The LG G4 has finally arrived in the Philippines, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce our newest innovation to our local consumers. The LG G4 is set to not only revolutionize the smartphone industry, but also add substantial value to consumers’ lives. It is the most ambitious phone LG has ever created, promising world-class performance and optimal greatness.”

The LG G4 is now available in the Philippines in genuine leather (black, brown, and red), ceramic white, and metallic gray, and shiny gold. The ceramic and metallic variants retail for P31,990 while the leather variant is P32,990.
