Boyfriend stops girlfriend from catching wedding bouquet

A lot of  women dream of walking down the aisle and marrying the man she loves. There’s an old superstition that says marriage is bound to happen when a girl catches a bouquet in a wedding, which means she is next in line to be a bride.

London couple of four years, Daniel Bickerdike and Angie Schultz, are aware of that old belief. So when they attended Leanne’s (Angie’s younger cousin) wedding to Larry Ball-Piatti, she planned on catching the bouquet no matter what. But little did she know, her partner was thinking otherwise. So just as Angie was about to reach for the bouquet, Daniel frantically knocked the bouquet out of her hand.

The hilarious battle was caught on camera. The video footage (which was played in slow motion to emphasize the couple’s reactions) shows an excited Angie eagerly preparing to catch the bunch of posies when to everyone’s surprise, Daniel intercepted the flowers and tapped it away from his girlfriend’s reach. Angie’s reaction was epic!

Daniel, 27, an Area Lettings Manager, and Angie, 32, a Pharmacist, have been together for four years. They met at a production musical where they were both members of the cast. According to Daniel, “..it’s been a running joke that because of the age difference, Angie’s (her) friends and now even her cousin kept beating her to the aisle.

After watching the video, Angie said they found it funny (so funny that she almost forgot about how pissed off she looked when the incident was actually happening.)
