Robert Downey Jr. Visits Young Boy With Missing Limb and Gives Him A 3D-printed Bionic Iron Man Arm

Everybody has their hero – whether that character is a real person or not, he/she serves as a source of hope and strength for that individual.

One is true for 7-year-old Alex Pring who was born with partially developed right arm.  An ordinary day becomes such a special one as the young boy gets a surprise visit from his favorite Avengers superhero Tony Spark.

And he isn’t just any masked actor but the Iron Man himself, Mr. Robert Downey Jr.

On his Facebook account, Downey posted a video of his visit captioned with having the pleasure of giving Pring a brand new 3D-printed bionic Iron Man arm.

The arm was created by Albert Manero, a college student who builds and donates affordable bionic limbs to kids worldwide.

Prior to the visit, Manero has been asking for assistance for #CollectiveProject. And with the help of OneNote, a leading bionics expert, the project pushed through.

Downey is the 2nd Avenger’s member who made their young fans happy. Chris Evans made headlines when he visited Seattle Children’s Hospital dressed as Captain America.
