Pretty Shoplifter from Cebu Fails to Settle Bill in Salon and Resort

Earlier this year, gorgeous girl Jobelle Bascug from Cebu became a social media sensation after she was alleged of shoplifting clothes worth P10,000 in a boutique in Mandaue. Now the pretty gal is embroiled in another controversy after she was accused of not paying her bills in a salon and a resort in the same city.

Bascug reportedly availed of manicure, pedicure, hair color and eye-lash extension services from Nails and Cocktails Salon on December 4. It took the salon staff until 12:30 am to finish the services Bascug requested. However, when it was time to settle her bill, Bascug said she needed to go to an ATM machine to withdraw cash. She left her bag in the salon to assure them she will come back.

Sadly, Bascug never returned.

Christy Sigvathesen, the owner of salon, posted a photo of Bascug getting a hair treatment on her Facebook account to warn others.

In the caption, she wrote:

“Please be aware of this lady named Belle. She came in the salon Thursday (December 4) around 6 pm. She took advantage of almost everything the salon had to offer. She was chatty and friendly and boasted about her poultry business and metal works in Balamban. She first got manicure and pedicure while having her hair dyed. She was extremely satisfied and asked for more services. She asked for highlights and eyelash extensions. She stayed in the salon til 1230 AM. When she was all done, she said she miss some cash and had to run to the ATM. She left her bag and ran out.”

On Thursday, December 11, Bascug was brought to the Asturias police station by the barangay captains and tanods for yet another complaint. The Cabo Resort management where Bascug has been staying since December 8 are planning to sue the beautiful lady for estafa since she hasn’t settle her bill amounting to P15,000.

Apparently, Bascug told the owners of the resort that she didn’t have enough cash and a friend of hers will settle the bill for her. Unfortunately, her friend didn’t arrive, according to Women and Children’s Desk head PO3 Dianne Molejon.
