If you’ve been captivated with Lyca Gairanod’s (The Voice Kid’s Champion) voice, wait till you hear this boy’s tone. 12-year-old Chris was found by Teofilo de Sagun on the street singing. Upon hearing the boy’s voice, he asked for him to sing a song to which Chris gladly obliged.
The 3:29-minute video shows Chris belting out “Sayang na Sayang” by Aegis and “Hanggang Ngayon” by the couple Regine and Ogie Alcasid. The short video was uploaded on September 1 under de Sagun’s account which he captioned with “Habang naglalakad ako sa kahabaan ng kalsada sa ALANGILAN, BATANGAS CITY eh napadaan ako dito sa kalye kung saan may narinig akong Golden Voice ng isang Bagets kaya hinanap ko kaagad at pinakanta.”
de Sagun shared that Chris is a balut vendor and all his earnings are dedicated for his family. He also compared Chris to Lyka who used to sell junk for a living.
