Supporters bid farewell to VP Leni Robredo’s Bayanihan E-Konsulta program

Those who knew how important the program was at the height of the pandemic are sad to see it go.

The Office of the Vice President’s Bayanihan E-Konsulta program will cease operations on May 31.

The program was designed to address the surge in COVID-19 cases and had launched by the OVP on April 7, 2021.

Medical and non-medical professionals provided help through the program that linked patients to healthcare practitioners for consultations, leading to a decongestion of hospitals.

The OVP thanked its partners for giving the program a wider reach.

Supporters hope the program will [also] be converted into an NGO, a route that the Angat Buhay program is slated to take.

Some are still digesting the reality that Robredo lost the presidency to the late dictator’s son.
