Ogie Diaz, Richard Heydarian still unsure of Bongbong Marcos’ plans as president

With less than four months before the national elections arrive, Marcos has yet to provide the details of his policies

Talent manager Ogie Diaz and columnist Richard Heydarian have questioned what presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s plans are for when he wins the presidency.

With less than four months before the national elections arrive, Marcos has yet to provide the details of his policies.

When delivering a speech is required of him, the former senator would vaguely talk about what he’d do should he win the top position in the country. However, he never says what has to be done, only that he’d “fix” troubling the Philippines.

Voters have caught on to this, prompting some to shift their support to other leading candidates.

Diaz and Heydarian also wonder why Marcos’ objectives remain unclear. Heydarian noted that all Marcos does is promote “unity” but never dives into the specifics of his intentions as president.

Diaz joked that Marcos supporters couldn’t even brag about the dictator son’s accomplishments. As a senator, Marcos was pedestrian.

The loyalists of Bongbong Marcos (LBM) can be disgusting sometimes.

Some also question Marcos’ love for the country. In a recent caravan, he was seen pulling his hand away from the crowd.

Former Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon is also aware of Marcos’ intention to “fix” issues.

Despite his blurry goals, Marcos is still favored to be the next commander in chief. Independent research group, Stratbase ADR Institute, sees Marcos winning the presidency by a landslide or another candidate winning by at least 30 percent.

“It could be a landslide for Marcos on May 9 or a tight race where we will simply have somebody at a little over 30 percent winning the presidency,” Stratbase ADR Institute President Victor Andres “Dindo” Manhit said on Wednesday.
