Dogs help owner with disability travel by using wooden carriage

  • Old man goes viral for sporting a carriage being pulled by four of his dogs.
  • As the video earned mixed reactions, the uploader explained the situation of the old man.

Facebook user and veterinarian Charlimagne Fugata shared a video of an elderly man hauled by his dogs on a wooden carriage to help him travel. The man, 64 year-old Vicente Tabujara Jr., is said to be having difficulty walking.

Fugata said that Tabujara has a total of nine dogs and he made the carriage all by himself.

The man said that he trains and feeds his dogs very well. In fact, he only feeds them vegetables and organic food ever since he started taking care of dogs in 2010.

“Di baleng di ako makakain, sila muna kakain. Mas mahalaga [sila] sa buhay ko.”

As the video has earned a mix of reactions, with some saying it’s cruelty to animals, and other saying that it’s a cool thing, Fugata made another post addressing the concerns. He said that the old man is treating his dogs right and he wishes that people can find better ways to address their opinions.

Sa lahat po ng naoffend with animal welfare act issues, before we throw harsh comments, maybe u can consider better way to express your concerns…

Sa lahat po ng gustong mag extend ng tulong sa mga aso at kay manong, u can contact us to reach their locations…
