4th Impact under fire for fundraising campaign to support 200 dogs

As of the latest update, the campaign has garnered donations amounting to $825 or nearly P50,000.

Pinoy girl group 4th Impact is facing backlash after initiating a donation drive aimed at constructing a “dreamland” for their 200 dogs.

On February 23, the group’s elder sister, Elvira, launched a Go Fund Me page with a target of raising $10,000 or over half a million pesos to support their cause.

According to the group, their journey with dogs began with five Shih Tzus gifted by their fans, which eventually multiplied over time.

Due to space constraints and complaints from neighbors about noise from their pets, the siblings were compelled to temporarily separate some dogs from their home while they pursued their dreams in LA.

Expressing their distress at being separated from their beloved pets, they resolved to establish a “dog haven” and sought assistance to realize this vision for their fur babies.

As of the latest update, the campaign has garnered donations amounting to $825 or nearly P50,000.

However, the group faced severe criticism from netizens who deemed their actions irresponsible for allowing their dogs to multiply to such an extent.

Numerous comments on social media platforms like Twitter criticized the group’s approach:

The controversy surrounding 4th Impact’s fundraising efforts has sparked intense debates online, with divergent views on the group’s responsibilities as pet owners.
