Atty. Nick Nañgit, who represents Alyas Ron, confirmed that the complaint has been submitted for resolution.

Actor and comedian Awra Briguela appeared before Makati Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Hon. Arvin T. Amata as part of an ongoing preliminary investigation related to multiple charges, including light threats, grave coercion, and a violation of the Safe Spaces Act.

These charges were filed against the actor, whose real name is McNeal Briguela.

Briguela attended the hearing accompanied by his legal counsel, while the complainant, who goes by the pseudonym Alyas Ron, was also present with their attorney.

During the proceedings, Briguela’s legal team submitted a rejoinder, which is a response to the earlier affidavit filed by the complainant.

However, both Awra Briguela and his attorney declined to provide any statements or comments to the media.

Atty. Nick Nañgit, who represents Alyas Ron, confirmed that the complaint has been submitted for resolution.

“Maghihintay na lang tayo ng ilang araw para mag decide ang prosecutor kung may probable cause na isampa na sa korte,” Atty. Nañgit stated.

“Mangyayari, submitted na ito for resolution. Maghihintay na lang tayo ng ilang araw para mag decide ang prosecutor kung may probable cause na isampa na sa korte,” he added.

In addition to these recent charges, Awra Briguela is also facing earlier complaints that include allegations of alarm and scandal, physical injuries, direct assault, and disobedience to a person in authority.

The preliminary investigation’s outcome will determine whether the case will proceed to the court for further legal proceedings.
