Presidential aspirant Leni Robredo visited 55 of the 81 provinces since the election campaign season began

Out of 81 provinces, Robredo has visited 55 provinces vis-a-vis her presidential campaign. This is according to the infographic released by netizen, Enzo de Borja, who tracked the movements of various presidential candidates since the campaign season began.

The presidentiable apparently bested out all her other rivals in the May 2022 polls, in terms of who went around the country most.

Nope, she is not Dora the Explorer; and she’s not endorsing multivitamins or energy drinks either. She wants to make sure every Filipino voter knows she is serious. Vice President appears to have traveled the most among all her rivals since the election campaign season started in February.

Out of 81 provinces, Robredo has visited 55 provinces vis-a-vis her presidential campaign. This is according to the infographic released by netizen, Enzo de Borja, who tracked the movements of various presidential candidates since the campaign season began.

On facebook, Borja, who is also UP Diliman’s SINAG Editor-in-Chief, released more detailed versions of the infographic, containing the days spent in campaigning, and the number of regions, cities, and municipalities, the presidentiables have so far visited. Robredo crushed the competition under every category, with her appearing to have spent the most days campaigning.

According to Borja, Robredo has been actively courting voters for 89 days in 16 regions, 55 provinces, 81 cities, and 83 municipalities. Her closest rival, the 2016 defeated vice-presidentiable Bongbong Marcos, on the other hand, has spent 58 days of active campaigning in 14 regions, 37 provinces, 57 cities, and 42 municipalities. Marcos is notably behind Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno, in terms of the days spent, and the number of cities and municipalities visited, until March 23.

As all presidentiables are seemingly draining their energy until the last drop to hop from one province to another, these numbers are poised to change. It is interesting to note, however, that they do not necessarily reflect the fighting chance of each candidate in winning voters. That said, the humongous crowds that each candidate is amassing seem to suggest who is so far getting the most attention at the moment.

It all boils down to May 9, 2022, when those who are not joining or have no chance of joining grand allies, as well as those who do not openly express their preferences on social media, go to the polling precincts and cast their votes.
