Richard Yap says good or bad publicity only means relevancy

Yap is currently facing a civil case filed against him by is alleged illegitimate son. It came after he announced that he’d run for a position in Congress

Richard Yap believes that “good or bad publicity is still publicity.”

In a media conference on the new television series “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon,” he said being talked about badly in the entertainment industry is somehow still good because it means someone remains relevant.

“Good or bad publicity, it means you’re still relevant. Kasi kung wala ng pumapansin sa’yo ibigsabihin ‘di ka na naiisip ng mga tao.” he said when asked about his thoughts on the saying.

“So whatever it is [good or bad], it’s still publicity.” the seasoned actor added.

Yap is currently facing a civil case filed against him by is alleged illegitimate son. It came after he announced that he’d run for a position in Congress.

Heart Evangelista on the other hand, said that critics should understand that celebrities are people too.

“Sa lahat ng nasa public, it’s important na whatever it is good or bad na lumabas, people should understand that you’re a person and that you’re real,

“As an artista, it’s important that we are true to ourselves and kung anong dapat tularan sa amin is how we we will be able to carry on and ride the waves as they crash into us because this is real life,” she said.

I Left My Heart in Sorsogon will be broadcasted by the GMA Network starting November 15 and is possibly Evangelista’s last teleserye.
