Ten ways to be stress-free during the holiday season

Most people look forward to Christmas every year but not the hassle the season may bring. The holidays may become very stressful for some, with all the gift shopping, baking, cooking, and traveling to be done.

Based on studies done by the American Psychological Association, 68 percent of people feel exhausted during the holidays. This can lead to increased irritability, sadness, and stress.

Here are ten ways to maintain happiness and good health during this holiday season.



  1.  Balance expectations

It is very important to handle time and maintain balanced expectations during the holidays. During these times of stress, we must remember that nobody is perfect. We must maintain a positive attitude that it will still turn out right.
