Nuisance Candidates flock to the Comelec to file their COCs

Another old hand at the filing game is Victor Lawag, who tried to run for senator back in 2013. He is a self-styled “world savior” who believed then that the world would end in December 2012 unless he stepped up to save the world from the “evil forces” of the selfish and the corrupt.

Instead of saving the world, candidate Marita Arilla would like to focus instead on saving the country. She thinks this could be achieved by shifting to an absolute monarchy.
