A group of dancers from Cebu got the surprise of their lives when their “stolen” cellphone turned out to have been taken — not by a thief, but by a mischievous dog.
In a viral TikTok video shared by user @N’ovellus.official09, the group was filming their dance routine outdoors when an unexpected “culprit” appeared in the background.
As they performed, a dog casually approached their setup and snatched the phone that was recording their performance.
“Last take na sana namin ‘to kasi uuwi na kami. Akala namin naka-record pa rin. Wala rin isa sa amin [ang] nakapansin na kinuha na pala ‘yung cellphone. HAHAHA continue pa rin kami sa pagsayaw,” the group wrote in the caption.
Unaware of what had just happened, the dancers continued with their routine until they realized the camera — and their phone — had vanished.
“After namin malaman nawala ‘yung phone, naghiwalay-hiwalay kami lahat para mahanap ‘yung phone. Buti na lang nasa malapit lang pero muntik na rin mapasok sa imburnal HUHUHUHUHUHAHAHAHA,” they added.

Thankfully, the group managed to recover the device before it fell into a nearby drainage.
