Unimpressed Bae Yoon-jung turns viral for her harsh criticism of ‘Dream Maker’ contestants

Jung admitted that she was bored and unimpressed by the performers.

Seasoned Korean choreographer and mentor Bae Yoon-jung has become viral on social media for giving Pinoy idol hopefuls tough love in a recent episode of “Dream Maker.”

Bae Yoon-jung is known as one of the original shapers of famous celebrities and products of the original format of the reality show Produce 101 including K-pop idol and actress Kim Sejeong.

In addition, she has also contributed greatly to the success of major entertainment organizations and groups in South Korea such as JYP, and Wondergirls among others.

In the first stage of the competition, the mentor’s casual opinions already caught the attention of netizens given how serious they were.

In the episode, last Saturday, Jung’s criticisms became viral due to their authenticity. Jung admitted that she was bored and unimpressed by the performers.

In her opinion, the group lacked enthusiasm and looked disinterested.

According to the renowned mentor, “I’m having difficulty because I was so bored! DREAM MAKER will not just make a P-POP group. This is a collaboration of both KOREA and PHILIPPINES the winner will be launched in KOREA.

Of the current 62 chasers, only seven will remain and will fly to Korea to train and officially be introduced as a global group.

I know that you are not used to training but you all like lethargic and don’t like what you are doing!” Jung added.

She noted how mindset is always relevant in pursuing goals. Jung hopes that the contestants will feel a sense of shame for showing a lackluster performance on a stage that could propel their careers to the next level.

I hope you feel ashamed for the many people who wanted to be here but didn’t make it because you were chosen. Don’t forget that and it should stick in your head,” she said.

Jung’s criticism was highly praised on social media.

Many Pinoys noted that the entertainment industry in the Philippines prioritizes a person’s attractiveness over their actual talent.
