Aika Robredo to file a complaint against those liable for fabricated sex videos

The videos were called “malicious fabrication” by Vice President Leni Robredo’s spokesperson Barry Gutierrez

Aika Robredo has requested that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) investigate the deepfaked lewd videos implicating her.

The NBI Cybercrime Division received a letter of request from Robredo’s lawyers to authenticate 60 websites that contain the videos. Part of the letter seeks to trace the source of the videos and find the accounts involved.

Should the NBI be successful, lawyers hired by Robredo shall file criminal complaints against those responsible.

The links being shared online don’t actually contain sex videos but will instead direct users to porn sites that have been designed to either install malware or permanently damage devices that are used to open.

The videos were called “malicious fabrication” by Vice President Leni Robredo’s spokesperson Barry Gutierrez.

“Malinaw na krimen ito. At ang paraan para talunin ang mga ganito once and for all: Manalo tayo sa halalan, ayusin ang sistema, at panagutin ang mga nagkakalat nito,” he said.

Recent findings suggest the vice president is the top presidential candidate targeted the most by negative disinformation, and the results remain true today.

Jam Magno, a supporter of the newly formed UniTeam, also pounced on the sex video issue concerning Aika.

She accused Robredo of being a mistress to an unnamed man.

Further, she tried convincing netizens that Robredo has ties to the CPP-NPA-NDF.

None of her claims have been verified.
