Programmer offers free computer repair services to those who are doing e-learning

A computer programmer from Tarlac extended a helping hand to students in need.

  • Programmer fixes students’ laptops for free
  • He also said that one of his aims for launching the campaign was to motivate students amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tarlac City’s Mark Anthony Perez is a computer programmer with a good heart as he launched his own campaign that offers free laptop repair services to Tarlac students who need some help to cope with their online classes.

The 22-year-old said that he started the initiative amid the pandemic so that he can at least offer a helping hand to poor students as schools practice distance learning when it comes to their lessons.

“One of the reasons why I did this campaign. Dahil gusto ko na makita niyo rin mga student na may mga taong tulad ko na gustong magpatuloy kayo sa pag aaral. Kahit mahirap, magpatuloy ka lang. Do not give up,” he wrote on his Facebook post.

“Because when you always give up, hinding hindi ka magtatagumpay sa kahit na anong bagay or hamon sa buhay. I said that because I’ve experienced it. Those struggles, problems, and hardships in life will bring you good things and will build your character. Part yan ng success, you will never be able to enjoy success without struggles, problems, and hardships in life. Overcome those challenges and you will see yourself changing little by little.”

Perez added that he hopes to motivate students and lessen their worries. Around 150 students have reached out to him and while he admitted that he got overwhelmed with the response, he still finds time to accommodate everyone.

Sorry for those unseen messages.I did this campaign for all. Oo, hindi ko mare-repair lahat, I can't accommodate all….
