A mother will do anything for her children.
This is what a former reporter recently shared on social media—the sacrifice his mother made for him and how his mother’s instincts managed to detect when he was in trouble.
Former GMA Network reporter Marvin Tomandao tweeted that his mom called him on her birthday to ask him how’s he doing.
He told her that he hadn’t eaten yet because there was no food.
Tomandao said his mom immediately went to his apartment after she pawned her ring and bought groceries for him.
“Kapag TV reporter ka, akala nila malake sahod mo. Barya lang. Birthday ni Mama, tumawag siya para mangumusta. Nalaman n’yang wala akong pagkain. Sugod siya sa apartment. Isinanla n’ya ang singsing n’ya. Pinag-grocery ako,” he wrote.
“Moms’ calls are a manifestation of their psychic powers,” he added.
