A seven-year-old boy was included in the list of more than 30 people who became victims of firecrackers.

According to GMA News TV‘s report, the victim lit up a piece of firecracker before biting it. The boy from Laoag City, Ilocos Norte suffered from a large wound in his mouth but remains healthy.

At the Philippine Orthopedic Center, two fingers were removed from a man after being injured by a Triangle.

A teenager was rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center in Marikina City after suffering from second degree burns on his left hand because of a lit firecracker.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), the total count of people injured is now 32.

The Philippine Orthopedic Center’s medical equipment is now ready just in case they’re needed. They perform detachment of fingers and bone related operations.

On December 21, the DOH declared “code white” to all hospitals in the country. This means doctors, medical staff, and emergency teams need to be on standby in case victims will need immediate medical attention.
