Pinoy figure scater Michael Martinez recently did a viral challenge on his Instagram page.

The challenge is to hold a stranger’s hand at the escalator. It sounds simple, but it is actually embarrassing and quite awkward, especially when executed to a random person one doesn’t even know.

Martinez was going up an escalator, pretending like he was thinking about something. When his target, who was going down the same escalator, was adjacent to him, he quickly touched the guy’s hand.

Completely embarrassed, the athlete quickly climbed up the escalator while laughing. On on the other hand, the stranger stared at Martinez, looking shocked and amused.

His video now has more than 13,000 likes.
