Brave Young Woman Defends Her Chosen Profession to a Friend who Belittled Call Center Agents

A job is one of the most important things for an individual as it is the source of income that they use to get by on life—that’s why a lot of people do their best in their studies to be able to find a great job in the future.

But how can one say that a certain job is already a good one? Do we have a set of standards that we use to assess if a job will benefit us in every way possible?

A female Facebook named Antonette delos Santos vented out on her account after her ex-friend demeaned the profession she was intending to apply for.

Her post instantly went viral as there are a lot of netizens who were infuriated and offended by the woman’s statements.

Along with her status, she also included screenshots of her conversation with her ex-friend.

At first, delos Santos was asking her friend’s sister about call center since she was working at a company in BGC. But when her friend learned that she was planning to apply for the same job, she started to question her decision and implied that she was putting her degree to a waste if she applied for the profession.

But her friend took things more serious as she was probably confused why delos Santos is aiming a profession which is not related to her degree. However, she defended the profession itself and said that it was a decent job and there’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Instead of backing down, the shameful woman spoke as if what she was saying was nothing but the truth. She had clearly said that those people who have no dreams, ends up taking the profession, as to which delos Santos slammed by reminding the woman that the money she uses for her school fee is from her sister’s job—who is a call center agent herself.

The people of the internet who had seen read their conversation were angered and also came to her aid to defend the call center agents.

At the end of the day, the kind of job is not what matters, but rather the principles and values being promoted inside the workplace. Also, any job is considered a wonderful one as long as it is legal and it doesn’t harm anyone in any way possible.
