Inspiring Filipina: A Kindhearted UE Student Teaches Street Kids Voluntarily

Teaching is one of the most challenging professions in the world. Some might think that being a lecturer is relatively easy, but it in reality, it isn’t. To be an effective educator, it requires knowledge, time and patience to be able to share what they know to their students.

One of these compassionate people is Dara Mae Tuazon. She is an aspiring pre-school teacher and a student in University of the East.

A Facebook fan page entitled UM Freedom Wall, posted the young lady’s deeds last March 18th.

Many people have seen how frequent she was in the streets of Gastambide, along with the street children whom she teaches during her free time.

Indeed she is truly inspiring as not everyone has the means to do what she is doing. Her efforts are a wonderful way for the kids to be interested in learning which will surely lead to them pursuing their education. It is also good to see that they do participate in such activities instead of doing unjust acts in the streets.

A netizen also had captured another photo of the selfless woman as she was educating the youth.

Tuazon made the netizens motivated to do the same and to help educate these kids if it is possible for them to have better future in spite of poverty.

If you were Tuazon, would you do the same thing?
