Alleged salisi gang suspect arrested after being chased by enraged victim

Another story of a Salisi gang incident is circulating on social media as one netizen shared her experience at SM Lipa, in Batangas.

On July 28, online user A. Navasero posted on her Facebook account an encounter she and her mother had with a salisi gang at a fastfood chain in SM Lipa at around 6:30 to 7 .pm. In her recollection of the incident, Navasero said the female culprit who had a male companion, took off with her mother’s bag while they were busy eating. Prior to the event, she noticed that the male accomplice seemed uneasy and restless. She had an inkling they were up to something, and she was right; the moment her mother realized her bag was gone, the two suspects also vanished.

Luckily for Navasero, they were able to think fast and chase after the criminals. They caught the woman, but her accomplice escaped. After the arrest and despite her plea for forgiveness, they filed a case against the woman. Navasero believed it was the right thing to do, to stop the now prevalent theft in the city, and prevent others from falling victim.

The older Navasero, in one comment, said:

L. Navasero: “Napakadami palang unsolved cases ng salisi gang sa sm kanina i asked myself bakit nangyari and i realized later na kami ang ginamit na instrumento ni god para ang unsolved cases ay masosolve na sa actual entrapment kanina. (There’s a lot of unsolved salisi gang cases in SM, earlier I asked myself why this has to happen to us, and I realized we were God’s instrument to solve the crime.)

The suspect is believed to be a part of a gang who’s behind the series of thefts and robberies in Batangas.
