Sofia Trazona to Alvin Aragon: ‘Pagod na pagod na ako. Tama na!’

Sofia also revealed that she had previously chosen not to disclose a painful incident in an attempt to protect Aragon.

Social media personality and drag queen Sofia Trazona directly addressed her stepfather, Alvin Aragon, in an emotional video posted on her Facebook account, saying she is exhausted from the ongoing public dispute over her gender identity.

The video came after another interview where Aragon spoke about Sofia’s sexuality in a tone that many viewers described as visibly angry.

Opening her message, Sofia made it clear that she was speaking directly to Aragon.

“To Mr. Aragon, I am addressing this specifically to you dahil to be honest, I am tired and hurting, at pagod na rin akong mag-defend at proteksyunan ang nanay ko sa lahat ng mga interviews, sa lahat ng mga nangyayari dito sa social media, napapagod na din ako. Gusto ko na rin matapos ang lahat-lahat ng ’to.”

She questioned where the anger directed at her was coming from.

“Hindi ko rin alam kung saan nanggagaling ‘yung galit mo dyan sa puso mo kasi to be honest, dapat naman full of love tayo e. Wala namang perfect na Christian, pero at the same time, bakit? Wala na bang grace? Wala nang compassion?”

Sofia also revealed that she had previously chosen not to disclose a painful incident in an attempt to protect Aragon.

“Bakit kailangan mong sirain ang sarili mo? Bakit kailangan mo rin akong sirain? And honestly, pagod na pagod na ako. Hindi ko alam kung kailan matatapos ito. I even protected you sa isang interview. Hindi ko nga sinabi na sinakal mo ako, diba? Pero ’yun talaga ang totoong nangyari.”

According to Sofia, the choking lasted for several seconds. At the time, she said she did not take it personally because she believed such discipline was normal.

Despite her revelations, Sofia emphasized that she does not want to destroy Aragon or his family and simply wants peace.

“Pagod na pagod na ako. Tama na! Wala akong intensyon na sirain ka. Wala akong intensyon na masira yung family n’yo.”

She added: “I’m happy for you, guys. Susuportahan ko kayo kung saan man nyo gusto mapunta in life. And let’s just focus on whatever we want to do in life.”

The public exchange between Sofia and Aragon follows a series of controversial statements made by the actor regarding LGBTQIA+ issues and his views on sexuality and faith.

As of writing, Aragon has not issued a new response to Sofia’s latest statement.
