Bretman Rock playfully takes a swipe at Vanessa Hudgens again

Vanessa Hudgens was awarded the title of the country’s Global Tourism Ambassador in March, an honor that garnered mixed reactions from Filipinos.

Popular Filipino-American beauty influencer Bretman Rock recently engaged in some playful banter targeting Vanessa Hudgens during an interview at the Hollywood red carpet premiere for the film ‘A Very Good Girl’ in Los Angeles on October 5.

When asked to select his favorite Filipino-American artists in a game called “This or That: Filipino-American Musicians” by Apop, a Buzzfeed sub-outfit focusing on Asian-American content, Bretman humorously preferred Olivia Rodrigo over Vanessa Hudgens.

He comically responded with “Olivia Rodrigo” and jokingly claimed he didn’t even hear the second name.

This isn’t the first time Bretman Rock has humorously poked fun at Vanessa Hudgens. In August, during a birthday celebration in Palawan, he replied to an Instagram user mentioning Vanessa Hudgens with the comment, “Vanessa Hudgens is shaking.”

This comment was a playful reference to Vanessa Hudgens’ pronunciation of “Palawan” during her visit to the Philippines, which some Filipinos had pointed out.

While no real feud exists between Bretman and Vanessa, their light-hearted exchanges have been noticed by fans and social media users.
