‘Artista Horror Stories’: Shocking entries shared on Twitter by netizens who worked alongside known personalities

Even for celebrities, no stink stays in one place for a very long time; it eventually explodes into the open.

The stories shared by ordinary people who met their most admired celebrities prove clarity and truth to the saying “never meet your heroes”; they may break or unbreak one’s opinion of them.

People in general, especially fans of celebrities, tend to forget that no matter what social and economic advantages their fellow humans have, they still have flaws like everyone else. The flaws can become so unsightly that they need to be concealed. That said, even for celebrities, no stink stays in one place for a very long time; it eventually explodes into the open.

Now their agents can only do so much to keep their talent’s reeking reputation from reaching the public. There comes a time when things just get out of hand, and the truly damaging stories about these near-perfect figures on screen get inevitably exposed.

That’s true for some local artists, who turn out to have nasty facets that only select people know about. On Twitter, user @OnlyElektra took the chance to start an undeniably long-overdue discussion about regular people’s horrible experiences with celebrities.

Here is some juicy information to read from The House of Elektra:

During shooting daw ng film ni Direk Jun Lana “Barber’s Tale” sa sobrang attitude ni Uge, nagbanta si Direk Jun na sasampalin niya si Uge if hindi umayos. The late Eddie Garcia got really disappointed Kay Uge. In the end, kebs pa rin si Uge. Sama ng ugali, “ she tweeted, beginning with the award-winning comedian-host, Eugene Domingo.

“(One of many) During a commercial shoot, pagdating ni Toni at kanyang team, nagalit ito sa prod at nagbanta “if hindi niyo papalitan ang dressing room ko, walang shooting na magaganap.” Hindi man lang daw nakiusap ng maayos.” She noted that such a story is only one of numerous examples that suggests Gonzaga’s unflattering behavior.

Another Twitter user seemingly vouched for the authenticity of Elektra’s claim, by sharing a story she learned from someone who had worked with Gonzaga. “My sister worked with a brand kung saan endorser to. Napaka attitude daw talaga. Late na dumating sa shoot eh wala naman daw prior shoot. Lol! Kaya hindi nagtagal as an endorser yun dun eh, ” she tweeted, exposing Gonzaga’s unprofessionalism.

Tapatio On Everything meanwhile, shared a story about James Reid’s refusal to comply with the demands of a brand he was endorsing. “James Reid delayed shooting for a TVC once kasi he was supposed to wear a pair of wings for the commercial, but he didn’t want to! Muntik umabot sa legal team, but afaik the client allowed him not to wear it na lang. hsahshhaha

Tbh understandable naman,” his tweet reads.

R decided not to name any celebrities in his tweet about an actress with a ‘diva attitude’, which was still intriguing. “Gumawa kami ng costume para sa isang tv series; tapos itong isang artista habang dinadamitan sya, ayaw nya tumayo sa upuan nya. Iaangat na lang yung paa para sapatusan di pa nya magawa. Busy sya kakatingin sa sarili nya sa salamin kawawa yung nagbibihis sa kanya.”

BULAN had a very long thread about an actor who got scolded by his management for posting too many “thirst traps” online. “Isang Guy actor na ilang beses na na call-out but everytime na may new thrist trap photoshoot, parang walang nangyayari. I was hosting dinner at Van Gogh is Bipolar. I wasn’t aware na isa sila sa naka reserve. And since intimate resto naman yun I was happy to accommodate them..,” the first entry to his long thread, reads.

Noreen Capili, whose pen is behind several successful TV shows, wants to share some intriguing stuff about the artists she has worked with, but decided to skip the chance. “Andami kong alam at nasaksihan pero saka ko na lang isu-spluk kapag retired na ako sa industry na to. Or kapag nakagawa na ako ng fake account. Chos, “ she teased in her tweet.

Karlo, a producer of one of the segments of the now-defunct morning show, Umagang Kay Ganda, shared about an unnamed personality who came much later to the show, than the set time of her interview. “May isang actress/host/vlogger ang mag-guest sa amin noon dahil may bagong movie. 6am ang call time niya pero 7:29am siya dumating. 1 minute bago matapos ang show,”

He also recalled a beauty queen who didn’t come to the set on the day of her scheduled appearance, all because she partied all night. “ Isang beauty queen ang ininvite namin para sa isang homecoming. Kakatapos lang noon ng pageant niya. Pumayag naman ang camp niya at nagbigay na ng date kung kailang siya available. So dahil malaking story ito that time, nagbaklas kami ng 3 bodies para sa kaniya.”

Take note that these stories are shared by those who claim to have experienced them. It may or may not be true, but unless the artists involved have clarified the issues themselves, why would you believe otherwise?
