  • The theater star admitted that there are truths to his ex’s statement but there are also “distorted truths.”

Trigger warning: mentions of rape.

The current boyfriend of Krystal Kane, Ang Huling El Bimbo star Boo Gabunda’s ex-girlfriend, called out the theater star for his non-apology video regarding the allegations of sexual and physical abuse.

“You RAPED my girlfriend, you unapologetic psychopath!” Stefano Castillo, Kane’s boyfriend, wrote as a quote-retweet if Gabunda’s video.

In his statement, Gabunda apologized to Kane and said that he’s been trying to reach out but he was blocked.

“I’m sorry I hurt you and there is nothing I can do to make up for it,” he stated.

“It’s not just affecting me. It’s affecting my friends, my family, and my colleagues. I know it took me long to speak because I couldn’t believe this was happening. I’ve been trying to reach out to you so you and I could talk about it, but then I realized that I was blocked.”

He also added that Kane’s statement contained truths that he takes full responsibility for but said that there were also “distorted truths” in the statement. He claimed that the has unlearned his “controlling behavior” and recalled how his ex-girlfriend acted similarly during the time they spent together.

Gabunda also accused Kane of harassing, stalking, and spreading rumors about him after they broke up.

Kane then uploaded screenshots of the theater star’s messages sent to her regarding her two-part IGTV video on how he abused her during their relationship. She stated that he has yet to sincerely apologize and that she knows that she also has mistakes and has owned up to it.

“I’m done being silent. I am not afraid to speak up for myself. Predators need to be held accountable for their actions whether they are aware of it or not. It’s time to stop this culture of victim-blaming,” said Kane on her IGTV videos.
