Study says that Women with Larger Butts may be Healthier and Smarter

  • A research from the University of Oxford found that women with larger behinds are more resistant to chronic illnesses.
  • They tend to have lower cholesterol and glucose.
  • The woman can also have higher levels of Omega 3 fats.

People often look up to personalities with healthy behinds. Celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, and Iggy Azalea are just some who always flaunt their gorgeous booties.

It turns out that bigger rear-ends don’t just look good, but they are also a good sign for intelligence.

A study by the University of Oxford, analyzed data from 16,000 women. It was found out that women with larger than average butts aren’t just more intelligent, but are also more resistant to chronic illnesses.

The lead researcher of the study, Professor Konstantinos Manolopoulos, said that “The idea that body fat distribution is important to health has been known for some time. However, it is only very recently that thigh fat and a large hip circumference have been shown to promote health; that lower body fat is protective by itself.”

The findings stated that women with larger behinds tend to have lower levels of cholesterol and glucose. They also have higher levels of Omega 3 fats, which have been said to catalyze brain development.

It also favors lepatin levels in the female body. It is a hormone responsible for regulating weight and dinopectina (an anti-inflammatory, heart-healthy, and anti-diabetic hormone).

Adding to that, the adipose tissue of the butt traps harmful fatty particles and prevents cardiovascular diseases.

It should be remembered that upper body fat isn’t healthy and can lead a plethora of health problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
