Nicole Angela Carriedo takes the internet by storm after sharing what happened to her sister. In a lengthy post with pictures as evidence, Carriedo narrated how her younger sister suffered from seizure due to overuse of her tablet.

A warning

“May limit sana kayo kung ayaw n’yo magaya sa kapatid ko na sobrang addict sa pag gamit ng kanyang cellphone,” she said opening her statement.

According to her, she noticed her sister freezing and her lips turned violet. It was the first time since she got hospitalized for Dengue seven years ago. Her 11-year-old sister kept on telling her that she’s just sleepy and that she needs water. But then it alarmed Carriedo, the next thing they knew, they are already at the nearby hospital.

The younger Carriedo underwent different laboratory examinations including EEG. Her family is hopeful that there’s nothing serious with their little girl’s condition.

While waiting for the results, Nicole opted to share their story only to warn both kids and parents to monitor the usage of gadgets.

“For now okay na sya, di na ulit sya nag seizure nilabas narin sya kaninang tanghali waiting nalang kami sa resulta ng EEG,” as per update of her sister’s condition.

With more than 289,000 shares and 66,000 reactions on Facebook, we just hope that this will reach millions. May this issue be a warning for others to not overuse technology.
