Creepy Photo Shows Ghost of a Girl Swimming with Family in the Exact Spot where She Died 100 Years Ago

A woman from Queensland, Australia shared a chilling photo of her family swimming in Murphy’s Hole in Lockyer River, south-east Queensland. A ghost of girl who drowned in the same spot apparently appeared with them in the photograph.

Kim Davison shared the creepy photo in the Facebook page of ‘Tonoowoomba Ghost Chasers’. The photo which shows two adults, three kids, and an unknown entity resembling a girl has gone viral since then.

Convinced that the unknown being is actually a ghost, Davison said only three kids were swimming at the moment the photo was taken.

Speaking to The Daily Mail UK, Davison said: “At the time of taking this photo there was nothing between us. I’m holding the little girl and that white head next to me with horns is not human, I can promise you that.”

Davison even revealed that they experienced several spooky things that day. Her daughter was allegedly grabbed two times by something in the water. Meanwhile, she also felt something strange as she was getting out of the water but disregarded it.

Two paranormal experts Davison consulted believe that the ghost in the spine-tingling photo belongs to a 13-year-old girl who drowned in the same spot in 1915.

According to a news clip of eBrisbane Courier in November 1915, Doreen O’Sullivan died of drowning while swimming in Lockyer Creek. Her body was recovered an hour after the tragedy.

The news clip also indicated that the girl drowned in a dangerous spot called Murphy’s Hole, which is more than 20 feet deep.

Expectedly, some cynics said that the hair-raising image is a result of a light flare. The administrator of the page even uploaded a negative version of the photo to prove this claim.

“Light flare will always show up as black shadowing when the photo is inverted.. and in this case the lighth flare is coming from full sunlight reflecting off the water onto the child.”
