Woman Survives Car Crash Because of Her Tight-Fitting Dress

Who would have thought that a skin-tight bodycon dress can save someone from a car accident?

Apparently, 21-year-old Zoe Turner was lucky enough to own a £34.99- red bodycon dress she purchased from Missguided.

On December 13, Turner decided to wear her little red dress to her mom’s office Christmas party at the Leeds United’s Elland Road ground.

However, she encountered a horrific car accident while she was on her way home. In the early hours of December 14, the cab she was riding was hit by a cement mixer badly injuring her and her three friends.

So how exactly did her little red dress save Turner?

According to Turner’s doctors, her bodycon dress functioned like “an old-fashioned corset”, which prevented her bones from coming out and piercing her vital organs.

“The doctors told me that if I hadn’t worn such a tight dress which held in place my bones as the car impacted, I would have most definitely punctured vital organs as my bones went out of place,” Turner explained.

Turner was brought to Leeds General where she was given morphine and a brace to keep her pelvis together. Although Turner survived the accident, she suffered multiple injuries which includes a broken sternum, a fractured pelvis, and a fractured sternum.

Luckily, her companions and the driver of the cab also survived the ordeal. The taxi driver survived with a broken neck, while her friends sustained broken arms, and pelvis.

As for Turner, who has been sent home since December 18, spending £35 for the party dress was worth every penny.

“I couldn’t believe my dress saved my life. That’s the best £35 I’ve ever spent.”
