A man with a bizarre condition decided to share his plight on social media site Reddit.
Calling himself TBoneTheOriginal, the man without a butt crack revealed that his unique condition was caused by severe pilonidal cysts. According to him, the condition causes painful cysts to grow at the bottom of his tailbone which can possibly get infected and filled with pus.
He disclosed undergoing multiple surgeries, but unfortunately, his plastic surgeon decided to close the cleft between his buttocks since the cysts wouldn’t heal.
“They keep coming back, and it’ll probably just get worse as I age,” he said.
As to what his bum hole looks like, “My butt hole looks the same as anyone else’s! The wound just goes very close to it,” he revealed.
In terms of pooping, the man said he defecates just like any other normal person. However, he has to be careful with wiping to prevent his feces from getting into the wound, which is located right next to his bum hole.
Reddit users with a similar condition were quick to share their problems.
“Yeesh. Had pilonidal cysts last year and got surgery this summer to remove it and that sucked…but not nearly as bad as this. Hope things get,” said user ThePhlor.
Another user who had a pilonidal cyst removed when he was 14 said: “There must be a way to permanently solve your problem. I have never heard of them coming back once the tissue is removed.”
Luckily for the man without butt crack, life seemed normal even without it. Now married, he said his wife is cool with his condition.
