Man cries after wife’s gift turns out to be something more special

The Apple watch is one of the coveted must-haves for Apple fans, with lots of people excited to get hold of the gadget after the company announced the timepiece in 2014. For this reason, Catie Reay of Casper, Wyoming, decided to gift her husband Chad with a new Apple watch for his birthday. But because she found something more special than an Apple watch, she decided to give that to him instead of the timepiece.

The special gift was the home pregnancy test stick which showed positive results. And Chad’s reaction to learning he was going to become a dad? He burst into tears.

In the video shared by DailyPicksandFlicks on YouTube, birthday boy Chad could be seen sitting on the couple’s bed, waiting for Catie’s gift. Upon seeing the box, he already had an inkling that it was going to be an Apple watch. Little did he know that the watch in the box was replaced by a positive pregnancy test stick.

His initial reaction was surprise, as was expected, but we certainly did not think he would be crying over the test considering his “tough guy” image with his large build, beard, and tattoos. Who would have thought he would cry upon learning he’s going to be a dad?

This sweet, unguarded moment for such a tough guy was the main reason why the clip quickly went viral, gaining close to 6.6 million views on YouTube over a week after it was uploaded.

The clip did garner a number of troll comments, including several claiming the guy was crying because he did not want the test kit (because babies are expensive or he was really infertile) but was really hoping it was an Apple watch.

Well, trolls and haters can laugh all they want because in our book, this guy is the sweetest…
